About Cool Clips

Cool Clips is a locally owned and operated dog grooming business in Welbourn, New Plymouth.

It was started by Raewyn Tomasi back in 1993 with a borrowed pair of clippers and an idea. In 1996 Raewyn became a qualified all breeds dog groomer following training with the very successful all breeds dog groomer Pat Lovell in Tauranga.

Raewyn has had years of experience in competitive dog obedience and for some time was an instructor at the New Plymouth Dog Training Club. She has competed in competition dog agility with her miniature poodle - Toffee.

For many years she was active in breed conformation showing at ribbon level with her Boxer, German Shepherd and Miniature Poodle. In 2002 she decided to give championship conformation showing a go and got her first New Zealand Kennel Club registered dog, a standard poodle and succeeded in making him up to a champion by the age of three years.

Raewyn is a member of the New Zealand Kennel Club and is the owner of a registered kennel.
